Update - November 2020
All in all it hasn't been a great year for being able to meet at our usual places for Pop in Coffee Mornings etc so there have been no updates so far this year. Here's to 2021 - let's hope that holds more promise to be able to socialise!

A friendly, informal atmosphere at the WI Hall, Rayleigh in front of the Mill Hall. No need to register or prebook. Meet and talk to other members, discover what is happening at Rayleigh u3a, perhaps make new friends.
New Member’s Meeting on Thursday 30th May 2019
We held a very successful meeting, 33 new members attended. The Chairman and Committee plus Group Leaders were there to welcome them. If you look at the picture gallery one can get a feel how interactive we all were.
Tables selling tickets for Social and Educational events were busy. The Patchwork group showed a quilt made by the members which is being raffled for charity.
I have already directed several members into groups, other members have put their name on the activity sheets to register their name and once we have enough names to form a new group. It was encouraging that some members there may be prepared to run a group.
Our next New Members and Group Leader Meeting is at the WI Hall in Rayleigh on the 27th June at 10.30am this is purely a chat over coffee, and giving new members an opportunity to meet up with each other again, and for the committee and group leaders to answer any queries.

Look out for our Coffee morning 13th September and Coffee afternoon 26th November.
