Birdwatching and Garden Groups
We meet on the 4th Wednesday 10.00 am
Group Leader : Peta Turner
The Birdwatching Group
(Please do not call us 'Twitchers')
The main thing that our Group Members have in common with each other, is that we all enjoy the peace and quiet of the Countryside and like to identify what we see.
We all have an interest in Birds and their behaviour, but it is surprising the number of wild animals and Butterflies that we have also seen on our excursions.
It is such a rewarding experience to learn together and we are so lucky to have so many unspoilt areas within easy reach.
Our group has become so popular that we now have a waiting list for new members who wish to join the Group. This is mainly due to the size of the Hides on the Nature Reserves that we visit.
If you would like to put your name down on the waiting list please send an email to the Group Coordinator from the Contact page of this site.
Group Leader : Theresa McAninch
We meet on various dates.
