Leader: - Carole Yude
With the end of lockdown and the reduction in social distancing in sight, now seems a good time to think about meeting up again in person. Sitting around a table learning or improving a craft skill is a great way to begin. If crochet or learning to quilt using English Paper Piecing interests you, then contact me via the carrier pigeon.
I hope to start with very small groups, no more than 5 people around my dining table giving me space to help each person individually.
No experience is required. Please contact Carole Yude via the via the carrier pigeon for more details.
We meet on the third Tuesday of the month from 10:30-12 am.
We meet in each others houses at a date convenient to us all, we sew, chat and drink tea! If you are interested please send me a message via the carrier pigeon, which is usually on the top right of the page. If you are using an iPad, tablet or phone to read this, it may be at the very bottom of the page.
This group started in 2014 moving on from simple English Paper Piecing to more complex designs, including some joint projects. You may remember we raffled a quilt in aid of the Peace Hospice last year. Some of those first members had never quilted before. I am hoping to start a beginner’s class in 2018, first Tuesday of the month. If quilting is something you would like to try, please contact me through the carrier pigeon on website.
