Radlett & District

Tai Chi

Leader: Nona Clarke.

Location of meetings: Radlett Village Institute

Availability: The Tai Chi group is now in its 4th year & unfortunately we are unable to accepting any more beginners. It is possible that a new beginners’ group may be started if there is interest. If you are interested please contact Nona Clarke via the carrier pigeon, which is usually on the top right of the page so a list of interested members can be started. If you are using an iPad, tablet or phone to read this, it may be at the very bottom of the page.

The group now holds 2 classes, beginners & advanced every Wednesday: -

Beginners class: 10-11am at the Radlett Village Institute (location below). Cost £8.

Advanced class: 11am-12 at the Radlett Village Institute. Cost £8.

No equipment is needed so we are able to practice at home, honestly! The Radlett Village Institute is on the corner of Watling Street junction with Theobald Street. One wing of the building is the Radlett Men's Club.

Please wear loose comfortable clothing, nothing restricting and flat soled shoes like plimsolls. Please advise our teacher, Elliot, of any mobility issues before the class so he is able to work around that mobility issue. The exercise does include a lot of standing so please check with your GP if you have any concerns.

The recent picture on this webpage shows experienced members of the Tai Chi group with our teacher Elliot Jacobson when they attended a recent seminar of Master Chen Yingjun.
