Walking 4-5 miles

These walks are for reasonably fast and fit walkers only. Please do not come if you are unwell and/or walk slowly.

Mon 11th July - 10am - Walk Leader: Chris Langdon - Rickmansworth Aquadrome Car Park WD3 1NF

Mon 12th September -10am - Walk Leader: Oliver Cahn - St Pancras to Camden Town along canal, north to Camden Yard & Roundhouse, Primrose Hill, Regents Park and return to St Pancras along canal. Meet at Radlett at 09:50 for 09:57 train or London St Pancras International departures at 10:30.

This is an ‘Open Group’, meaning that all Radlett & District U3A members are welcome. However, please note that participants are responsible for their own welfare and ensuring that they are physically able to take part in the activity. They should also be suitably equipped with clothing and footwear for the weather and country footpaths.

Day and time: on a Monday morning, usually at 10am and the walks take about two hours. The distance and speed depend on the conditions and who is leading the walk. Most walks average about 3 miles per hour. Please have current membership card (with emergency contact details completed) with you on all walks
