Radlett & District

Walking 4-5 miles

Leader: - Bruce Line

This is an ‘Open Group’, meaning that all Radlett & District U3A members are welcome. However, please note that participants are responsible for their own welfare and ensuring that they are physically able to take part in the activity. They should also be suitably equipped with clothing and footwear for the weather and country footpaths.

Day and time: on a Tuesday morning, usually at 10am. The walks take between one and two hours. The distance and speed depend on the conditions and who is leading the walk. Most walks average about 3 miles per hour.

The November walk will be on Tuesday 26th November at 10:00 from the Grove Mill Lane Park car park, Watford. Nearest postcode WD3 4TG. At the roundabout on the A41 (by M25 link) NW of Watford, take the A411 and after 1km, turn right down Grove Mill Lane. Car park is nearly a mile on the left past the golf course. Led by Joan Miller.

Many thanks to all the U3A members who offer to lead a walk. If you have a particular walk that you would like to share with our members, please contact Bruce Line, using the email icon, to arrange a date.

If you enjoy walks in the country please put these dates in your diary. If you are interested in more walking, outside U3A, then click on the link to Hertfordshire Health Walks on the right.
