This group discusses subjects in the paper, films, TV, books or personal opinions on anything. Each month we choose a subject for discussion the following month and then we have open discussions on any subject.

The Discussion Group, which is on the first Wednesday of each month between 2pm and 4pm, is always well attended. Members are encouraged to bring subjects to discuss. The subjects are varied and Members are very willing to air their opinions which are then discussed and analyzed. We stop for tea, cakes and biscuits at around 3.30 where the discussion continues and often runs over time.

Our friendly and well established current affairs group has enjoyed a year of enthralling discussions on various subjects throughout UK and abroad
