VINEYARD VISITS
DESCRIPTION: This group will visit Sussex vineyards to undertake wine tasting tours. The group will operate on a car share basis so you will need to take a turn being the designated driver. (further details in this month's Newsletter)
This group will visit some of the many vineyards based in Sussex to learn about grape growing and the wine production process and of course taste some of their wines. Sussex vineyards now produce some world beating sparkling wines and climate change is allowing them to grow more common grape varieties and produce mainstream wines.
The group operates on a car share basis to provide transport to the vineyards so all members will need to have access to a car and be prepared to be the designated driver when it is their turn.
We expect the cost of visits and tastings to be £15 to £25 and you will be responsible for obtaining your own ticket.
