MOTO HOLIDAYS
MOTO Holiday to Menorca - 15-22 September 2019. 7 MOTO members spent a very enjoyable week at the Hotel Valentin in Son Bou. The hotel itself was vast, spotlessly clean and boasted both spacious outdoor and indoor pools and a gymnasium (not that any of us took advantage of the latter!!). The evening entertainment was really good and two of us ventured on stage during the ABBA Tribute night, (I believe there is photographic evidence of this!!). I also believe most of us put on a few extra pounds after indulging in the magnificent choice of food … something for everyone.
During the week the 5 ladies (Irene W, Barbara S, Christine H, Christine D and myself) visited the market at Mahon and looked around the interesting town, taking in the beautiful views over the port. Tony C and Cliff J explored the coastline on foot and we all travelled by bus on different days to the west coastal town of Ciutadella for more sightseeing.
We were very lucky to have a beautiful hot week and the break definitely recharged our batteries. Another successful MOTO trip.
