Latin for Beginners
Group Leader, Carol Eusden Contact details in Newsletter
We meet on Fridays from 09.30 – 10.30
The Latin group follows the Cambridge Latin Course material which has two principle aims: the comprehension of Latin for reading and an understanding of Roman lifestyle and its values, with special reference to the first century AD. The course material introduces common phrases and sentence patterns at the beginning which are retained and added to systematically as the course develops, with written stories of historical and fictional characters and events and illustrations of the Roman world.
