Group Leader: David Patterson (Contact details in Newsletter)

Tai Chi is founded on a martial arts discipline devised in China in the 18th century.
Tai Chi consists of a number of forms: the Short Form, the Long Form and two using imitation swords. Each form consists of a sequence of movements performed slowly and to music. They are aimed at improving student’s posture, balance, breathing and core strength and aiding composure. Some have suggested that it is akin to dance so it is enjoyable and relaxing.
New members are welcome and more experienced members will help new ones to learn the moves.
Venue: Elm Court, Mutton Lane, Potters Bar.
