Porthcawl

Walking

Led by Malcolm Cowper, this group meets usually on the second and fourth Fridays of each month, at 1:30pm.

If you have not walked with the group before, please contact the leader to check that the starting point is as planned

Disclaimer: If the weather is doubtful, please phone the leader to check that the walk is taking place. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear. We walk at our own risk.

GOOD NEWS - As larger organised groups are currently able to meet outdoors, Walking has resumed

HOWEVER, there are some restrictions. Anyone wishing to take part must contact the walk leader beforehand to check that they can attend.
This is because we are imposing a limit of 15 people on each walk and it will be limited to the first 14 people to contact the Walk Leader

The next walk in Friday 23rd October

As we go into Lockdown again at 18.00 hrs on Friday our walk that afternoon is still legal. Trixie Tudor and Anne Trimble will lead an easy 4 mile walk around Newton Burrows. There are no stiles just a little mud and soft sand but nothing untoward and we walk back along firm sand on the beach. If you would like to take part please book with Trixie
