Mavis Gulliver has kindly volunteered to start a new Poetry group at her home in Hanwood.
The day and time is the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, from 10h00 until 12h00, starting on 11th January 2024.
This is a perfect opportunity to explore and develop your skills as a poet.
We are very lucky to have Mavis as Poetry Group Leader: Mavis has had many poems published in specialist poetry magazines and has two collections published by Cinnamon Press. She successfully completed the Open College of the Arts poetry course and also attended three Arvon poetry courses so has experience and a wealth of ideas.
No previous experience is necessary. All you need to join the group is a desire to write poetry, a notebook and pen - and willingness to attend all meetings.
Please be aware that numbers will be limited in order to ensure that all participants receive the necessary support and feedback.
