Interest Groups

Pontesbury & Rea Valley u3a currently runs over twenty interest groups. They vary in subject content from educational topics such as history and English literature, to physical activities like walking and table tennis and more artistic themes such as photography and art appreciation. Whatever the focus you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome.

Groups meet at different frequencies, ranging from weekly, bi-weekly to monthly.

We are also keen to introduce new groups and encourage suggestions for additional subjects not yet covered. Please let us know if your interest area is not covered and we can ask others if they would also be interested in forming a group around your topic. If you would be willing to lead a new group then so much the better.

However, if you are not a u3a member, we encourage you to "try before you buy" before you join. This is limited to two free taster sessions to one of our Interest Groups. Please contact the relevant group coordinator in advance before attending, as space may be limited.
