There have been 2 coach trips during 2018.

In June a visit was made to Killerton House, a National Trust property.
2018 marked the centenary of the 1918 act that gave women the right to vote for the first time.

We were able to explore the exhibition ‘Women and Power; The Struggle for Suffrage’ telling the story of the suffrage movement.
It was a beautiful sunny day and many enjoyed walking in the gardens.

At the end of November we ventured to Tyntesfield House, another National Trust property. We were able to experience a Victorian Christmas. Not only was the house decorated in the appropriate manner but we were encouraged to communicate with actors who were playing the role of the Victorian family and servants.
