Wednesday, Week 4.

So far we have visited Newquay, Bodmin, Totnes, Dawlish, Paignton, Kingswear and Looe. We usually have a look around the shops, have lunch, perhaps visit a museum and then return to Plymouth around 5 p.m.

We are a group of about 16, so if you would care to join us for a day out, please contact Mike Steer on 339007.

26th February 2020.

Exmouth and Al a Ronde National Trust.

The group of 11 had a good day out catching the 9.15 train from Plymouth to Exeter and then on the branch line to Exmouth. There we had arranged for Taxi's to pick us up and take us to Al A Ronde, a National Trust house, where we enjoyed a tour of the house, which is very pretty and well worth a visit if you have never been.

There was a good selection of food available in the cafe, and was enjoyed by all. The Taxi's arrived back to collect us, where we reversed the trip and we arrived back in Plymouth around 4.30.Everyone enjoyed our very successful day out in lovely sunshine. IT DID NOT RAIN !!!!!
