Pitlochry & District

Welcome

We hold monthly meetings and events which are open to all members between September and May with a break over Christmas and New Year. These meetings take place in the Atholl Centre a start at 2.00 with a short presentation followed by time for discussion. New members and potential members are welcome.

The next meeting of Pitlochry & District u3a will on Wed 17th of April. Helen Kirkwood from the centre will give a talk about “Life at the Atholl Centre”. This will then be followed by a Special General Meeting and Annual General Meeting.

An outing to Perth museum is planned for May 15th.

The u3a primarily brings together people who have finished working full time or raising their family to develop interests and to continue learning in informal and supportive environments. The focus is on sharing and learning from each other. In addition to our whole group talks we also offer interest groups which are led by one of our members - the emphasis is on learning from each other and having fun while doing so. There is no lower age limit for membership and people who are working part time may join. In addition to our whole group talks, we also offer special interest groups which are led by one of our members - the emphasis is on learning from each other and having fun while doing so.
