About the group:-
The travellers tales group is a friendly social group. The aim is to share and enjoy travel experiences with others in an informal environment.
Tales can be from holiday or work travels.
Some presentations are related from memory with the help of photographs projected onto a screen, from albums, brochures or just souvenirs.
We also have outside speakers in addition to our own “home grown” members and tales can be as long or short as you like!
The group meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 10:15 for 10.30 in the Village Hall at Easton Royal.

Most folks like holidays! Well, the members of this particular Group certainly like them, and what’s more, enjoy hearing about other people’s holidays too! Many of the Travellers’ Tales Group have a wealth of holiday experiences or anecdotes to tell.
Upon our return from our summer break we were treated to an Irish adventure from Joanna Goulson, who, along with Phil and Ben, had a Grand Tour of the Emerald Isle for the month of June. Despite the famous Irish weather she had some lovely photos to show us all, of the lush countryside and well-painted cottages and beautiful deserted beaches, and descriptions of the various accommodation they enjoyed/experienced and tips to follow regarding sat-nav instructions.
We shall continue the theme of members’ holidays in October with a tour of somewhere not many of us have not visited before – Antarctica, so put your woollies on for an icy cruise with Mike and Cathy Waring, to be followed in November with Sue Grigg and Ann Smith recalling their visit to Sicily earlier this year.
