Members portal

If you are a member of Perth u3a, you can use this feature of our Beacon admin system. The portal gives you access to your own membership record, as well as information available only to members such as group leaders' phone numbers. You can use the portal to:

  • edit your personal details
  • renew your membership online (from mid July, when renewal reminders are sent out)
  • find phone numbers for our group leaders.

Under personal details, you can, for example, change your email address or your phone number, and can opt into or out of receiving TAM (Third Age Matters - a free magazine from the Third Age Trust).

If you want to email a group leader, go to the list on the Groups page, click the group's name and use the pigeon link on the group's webpage to send them a message.

Accessing the members portal changed on 18 April 2023 from using five pieces of data about you to an email address and a password. The first time you log in after this date, you have to change to the new login method. Most members made the change when they renewed for the 2023-24 sesssion. Full details of how to change, including screenshots and a short video, are given in the Beacon User Guide section 10.2 b.

Full details about using the portal, including renewing your membership, are available in the Perth u3a members portal guide. Please note that Perth u3a does not:

  • support personalised calendars
  • keep individual members' photos
  • allow members to join or leave groups online.
