Who can join?
Anyone who is no longer in full time employment or is retired can join. All you need is interest and enthusiasm to join in activities, and a willingness to contribute. We are members, not students and we have no teachers - we learn from each other.

What is the cost?
Membership of Perth u3a costs £25.00 a year (for 2023-24). Our membership year runs from August to July. Whenever you join in the year, you'll be invited to renew your membership early in July. There are no additional fees for group membership.

How do I find out more?
You can download the Perth u3a flyer or the New members information. You can browse this website, for example, find out about our Groups. Or contact the Membership Secretary by clicking the pigeon icon.

How do I join?
You can join online or by post or in person (see below).

To join online
Follow this link and follow the onscreen instructions. You’ll need to key in details such as your name, email address, postal address, phone number(s). If you wish, you can provide an emergency contact. The system allows photos of members to be uploaded, but Perth u3a doesn’t use this facility. Online payment of our membership fee uses PayPal – you do not have to have a PayPal account as you can pay as a guest. This site has full details

How we use your personal data
If you join, you provide us with your personal data, for example, postal and email addresses and phone numbers. To facilitate your membership, Perth U3A uses and shares your data as follows:

  • for administration, planning and management of Perth U3A
  • to allow communication between group leaders and their group members
  • to communicate information likely to be of interest to members of Perth U3A
