Local History
u3a LOCAL HISTORY GROUP
The Local History Group meet on the first Monday of the month at 2.30 pm (doors open at 2pm.) in St Andrews Community Centre.
The current average attendance is around 55 of our members. A typical meeting is a talk by a speaker from a local organisation talking about their history or a wider topic relating to the local area where possible. We then enjoy a chat over a cuppa with a biscuit, usually chocolate.
We take a break in August and a couple of local visits are organised for July and September.
