Welcome to Oundle & District U3A
Situated in rural northeast Northamptonshire on the banks of the River Nene, the historic town of Oundle and surrounding villages enjoy a diverse range of cultural activities, amongst which is the U3A. It was launched in 2008 and now has a membership over 600 with over 80 groups of various interests. Members meet in each other's houses or local halls (for larger groups) to participate in a wide range of activities. See separate page for groups, times etc. Group coordinators can be contacted via the Bluebird logo or by phone or through the Interest Group Coordinator on the CONTACT page. Full details are also given in our Annual Booklet which each member household will receive.
Monthly Meetings are also held on the afternoon of the second Monday of the month in the Victoria Hall, West Street, Oundle where invited speakers give talks on a wide variety of subjects. Membership to the U3A is open to anyone who is no longer in full time employment and there is no age limit for membership. You must be a paid up member of our U3A before you are able to join any of the Interest Groups. At the moment it costs £12.50 annually to join and there is £1 charge for members/£2 for non members when attending the monthly meeting which includes tea or coffee and biscuits.
