About u3a: OnlineAcross Scotland
Aims
To organise the provision of u3a group activities across Scotland through video conferencing and shared learning tools for those not in full time employment. The group will adhere to the aims of the Third Age Trust, as stated in the Affiliation Agreement to ‘further the principles, aims and activities or the u3a movement.’
Purpose
The specific purpose of the network is to offer ongoing groups, time limited courses and research and collaboration on projects to members of the u3a across Scotland with a particular regard to those in remote areas and those with restricted mobility or disability who might not be able to access face to face meetings. The ethos of the network will be to offer small group learning and collaboration, using various forms of free video conferencing facilities.
Membership
Membership of the network is open to all members in Scotland of any u3a local branch or of the Trust u3a.
