WHAT WE DO
I did a degree course in Art many years ago and following a Civil Service Career am now happy to have returned to my first love, drawing and painting.
I have designed a 10 month course covering the basics: -
WHAT WE PUT ON AND
WHAT WE PUT IT ONTO AND
HOW WE PUT IT ON AND TAKE IT OFF!
Currently I set a topic each month which enables the members to hone the skills acquired and explore new techniques which I introduce.
The most important message is still LOOK AND SEE.
There are now about 8 members, divided amongst the 5 groups which I organise.
I have members from 4 U3A’s in the area.
The sessions are once per month for each group, from 10 am to 12 noon.
There are sessions on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.
Meetings ALL AT 10 TO 12 NOON UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED in my home.
If there is anyone out there who would like to join our enthusiastic group please email to me and I will fit you in when I have a vacancy.
Previous experience is not essential, all you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and practice.
I will ensure that new members cover the basics so that they will feel comfortable to work alongside existing members.
