Art Study
The group meets monthly to examine and discuss art topics, eg, paintings, themes, individual artists etc, on the first FRIDAY of each month 10.30 am - 12.30 pm.
(No meetings are held in January or August, a full list of dates is available from the group leader). All meeting dates are Friday
The area for study is chosen by the members. No knowledge of art is required and new members are very welcome.
The venue :The Pennine Mencap Building, Rhodes Bank Chambers 184 - 188 Union Street. Oldham OL1 1EN.
The location is easily reached by tram or bus by alighting at Mumps and turning and crossing the wide road to walk towards Union Street. It is the first building on the left as you arrive on Union Street. There is ample parking nearby, if travelling by car.
The meeting dates for the next sessions for 2024 Fridays are 1st March, 12th April - (date change due to bank holiday). 3rd May, 7th June, 5th July. NO MEETING IN AUGUST. Members are asked to bring their own Refreshments.
