Oldham & District

Reading Group

This group is now meeting at OLDHAM LIBRARY The meetings are once a month. Usually the first Friday in the Month at 2 p.m.

We have a planned list of books from Oldham Library with four free choice months per year.
We aim to include all members attendng in the discussion, starting the meeting by each member saying what they thought of the book before discussing it more fully. We find ourselves reading books we wouldn't normally choose, some we love, some we hate, some we never finish, often books disliked by the majority lead to the best discussion. What we all share is a love of reading.

Our next meeting is on Friday 3rd August. At this meeting we will be discussing The Watcher.

Our book for July is 'The Watcher' by Ross Armstrong.
Our book for August is 'All the Light we Cannot See' by Anthony Doerr.
