Held once a month throughout the winter at 2.00pm.
Our aim is to explain and explore a scientific or technical subject in a way that makes it understandable to anybody. We look at:
1. Why is it significant (eg. Global Warming)
2. What's interesting about it (eg some modern science seems over-confident)
3. What it means for us (eg energy saving).
Geoff Shepheard has taken over the running of this Group's coordination to revitalise the topics and subjects by getting a wider range and more involvement. It's moving to a more convenient date & time. Any ideas, topics, hosts, etc welcome.
