Walking for Pleasure

Group Contact: Lynda Hampton / Graham Deverill

The objective is to have an enjoyable walk, in good company with the incentive of a good pub at the end. The walks are usually around 5 miles and normally take about two hours . We share the setting of the walks amongst the members, which ensures that we enjoy a wide variety of walks.

We try to ensure that the majority of walks start within half an hour by car from Odiham. Walkers need to be reasonably fit , although we do try to keep the number of stiles to be climbed to a minimum ! Well behaved dogs, in the company of owners, welcome. We welcome partners who are non-walkers to join us for lunch.

We have had such a wide range of walks in different parts of Hampshire, it is almost invidious to pick out any particular walk. We have enjoyed spectacular views of our countryside and have visited excellent pubs at the end of each walk.

Venue: Glorious countryside and good pubs

Times: 10.15 am to 1.00 pm
