Thank you for renewing your membership to our Odiham and District U3A Group.
You can renew on an individual basis.
You can also renew on a joint basis if you have 2 people living in the same household and each will receive their own individual card. If you are not already set up as a Joint member then please contact the Beacon Administrator using the Click to Send a Message button and request to be set up as a Joint member before proceeding.
Members who share an address, but have not selected Joint membership, have the option to pay the other member’s subscription at the same time. However, if the other member is eligible to claim Gift Aid, their membership should be renewed separately.
If you belong to another U3A you will be charged an Associate Membership fee.
Gift Aid is an important source of income for us. If you are a tax payer please be sure to tick the relevant box and for joint membership only the person paying needs to qualify as a tax payer for the U3A to benefit.

Terms and Conditions
By renewing you are signing up for our current Terms and Conditions. Please click Terms and Conditions - Renewal to read.
Our Privacy Statement includes details of how we use the information that you have supplied. Please click Privacy Statement - Renewal to read.
If you are a UK Taxpayer you can authorise us to claim Gift Aid, this is 25% of the total. We need to point out that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid on all your donation in that Tax Year - it has to be your responsibility to pay any difference. You will be able to nominate to give Gift Aid when you complete the Renewal details in Beacon. Please contact our U3A Treasurer using the Click to Send a Message Button if you have any questions about Gift Aid.
By clicking on Pay Now you are signing up to our Terms and Conditions and that you understand our Privacy Statement.
The Pay Now button takes you to U3A's Beacon Information Management System which holds your details securely.
If you wish the U3A to claim Gift Aid on your subscription please ensure that the Gift Aid box is ticked. Once you have confirmed the membership class and ticked the Gift Aid box, if appropriate, Beacon will then connect you to PayPal. You do not need to set up a Pay Pal account. You can use your own Debit and Credit Cards with the Paypal guest option- and your payment details will not be stored.
Have your membership card ready with your membership number, which is below the bar code. On entering the Beacon Members database, members will have to identify themselves by entering their membership number; forename; surname; postcode (RGnn nXX ensuring a single space between the two halves of the postcode) and email address - they must be entered exactly as you registered in Beacon including any leading capital letters on Forename and Surname (or have updated most recently). If you are using an ipad it often inserts an extra space at the end of the name, this will result in an error. If by any chance you make a mistake and didn’t enter the information quite correctly then the system will revert to the log in screen. Just try again, double checking that the data you enter matches what’s on your membership card.
If you are still having problems then click on Member Details for Beacon or contact the Membership Secretary using the Click to Send a Message button.
After payment you will get an email copy of your membership card from Beacon and an email Payment Confirmation from PayPal.
If you do wish to make changes and are encountering issues with updating your details please use the Click to Send a Message button at the top of the page to email the Membership Secretary
