Poetry

We meet at South London Theatre, Norwood at 1:30 p.m. fourth Wednesday of each month.

For each meeting, we choose poems on a particular theme, which we then read to the group. Each person selects about 5 poems, and then we go round the group several times, so that we do not read all our poems out at once. Most of us select poems by published poets, from doggerel to classical, Pam Ayres to William Wordsworth.; however we are always delighted to hear poems written by a member of the group.
