Outings

We usually have coffee and lunch together during our outing.
Visits to places of interest and events in and around our capital city.
We have visited the Supreme Court, art galleries, museums, historical houses, royal parks etc

Coming up:
21st February: The Postal Museum’s new ‘Great Train Robbery’ Exhibition.
Meet: Tulse Hill Rail station at 10:25 for 10:38 train (probably Platform 1 to Farringdon). 15-20’ walk.
New exhibition plus another ride on the Mail Rail. I will look after all bags while you’re on that.
£16 includes Mail Rail – Art Fund discount. Café, shop, toilets, lockers.

13th March: Thames River Police, Wapping.
Meet: Tulse Hill Rail station at 10:30 for 10:47 train (probably Platform 3 to Queen’s Road Peckham) and 2’ walk by river.
I realise this is our London Bridge train but it’s best we all meet and go together from Tulse Hill as we have to change trains.
This is a privately booked tour just for us, within a working Police Station. The Hon. Curator/retired Police Officer will give a 90’ guided talk/tour.
I expect to collect at least £20 from the group to cover his expenses. No facilities but pubs nearby have been recommended for lunch.
