Wed Mar 20th | General Meeting | Change of Event: The climate discussion has been postponed. Instead we will have: "A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE" All those quirky things that were once part of normal life but are now curiosities - Coal deliveries, Live TV and Radio, Children playing in the street, trolley-busses ... that kind of stuff. The idea is for all attendees to share memories or listen to others reminiscences - was it better or was it worse than now? |

Fri Apr 19th | Outings | Fashion and Textile Museum – The Biba Story 1964 – 1975 How Barbara Hulanicki developed the world’s first lifestyle label revolution from a mail order company, epitomising 60’s and 70’s fashion. With fantastic pieces of clothing, film and photos and other material personally chosen by Biba’s originator. This venue always offers fabulous exhibitions, even if you don’t think you’d be interested! Toilet, lift, shop, local cafes. |
