Update 23/4/21

Sharing Groups Using Zoom

Does your u3a have groups that have moved to Zoom and find they could accommodate extra people, perhaps because not all the group members want to join in Zoom meetings? Or do you have members who are frustrated that their group has not moved to Zoom, either because there's too little demand or the group leader doesn't like the idea?

At a meeting of Groups Coordinators from various of our u3as, we wondered if it could be possible to arrange that frustrated would-be Zoomers could temporarily join in Zoom meetings of the corresponding group of another u3a.

David Pattinson has kindly agreed to coordinate this. If you are a group leader who can offer spaces in your group while you are meeting on Zoom, please send an email to David using this link: Groups Zoom stating the name of your u3a and the subject of the group in question, and he will set up the necessary contacts.
If you are someone who would like to take advantage of such an offer, please look at the following document (either pdf or docx - your choice)
