WIND INSTRUMENT GROUP

I am interested in starting a music practice group to meet up once a week possibly Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. I have played in wind bands before and would base it on my experience in these. I would be prepared to conduct if I have to.
I play the flute and trombone, but really I am only a beginner so would like to keep the music up to grade 3 level.
I am looking to hire a hall for two hours a week during school terms. I would like a group of up to 15 people to join me.

TEXTILE GROUP
Sue Hasdell ran the Textile Group until last autumn but reluctantly had to step down as leader and now this very successful group is looking for a new leader. Sue’s message is that in the past the group helped each other to complete a wide range of projects using various techniques. This has included Sashichu, Chicken Scratch, Canvas Cross Stitch to name but a few.
