Are you fascinated by the past? British History 1 and 2 learn and research in a friendly, informal group, meeting in the leader’s home. Members research personalities, major issues and key topics from an agreed historical period and present their findings to the group. We discuss the consequences of these and their impact on lives of ordinary men and women.

Visits are made where possible.

British History 3

We meet at a member’s home in the Duston area on the 4th Thursday of each month from 2pm-4pm.

We start our studies from 1066 and move chronologically through history (Norman, Middle Ages, Tudor etc.). Members research various aspects of the period and present their findings to the group for discussion.
