Tatton Park This year sees the 150 year commemoration of the birth of the last Lord Egerton who bequeathed Tatton Park to the National Trust in 1958 and we are keen to spread the word about our exciting exhibitions beginning at the end of March.

Capesthorne Hall We are a family-owned Stately home in Cheshire, near Macclesfield.

Liverpool Welsh Choral, 2023-2024 Season Concerts

Concert 1: Christmas with the Liverpool Welsh Choral and Northop Silver Band, Saturday 16th December 2023, 7.30pm at the Tung Auditorium, Yoko Ono Lennon Centre, University of Liverpool, 60 Oxford Street, Liverpool, L7 3NY (junction of Oxford St. and Grove St.).

Spectacular Concert 2: Requiem by Giuseppi Verdi: Saturday 27th April, 2024, 7.30pm at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, St James Road, Liverpool, L1 7AZ.
Featuring: Liverpool Welsh Choral, Vivace Chorus from Guildford, Surrey, Cantorion Menai, Liverpool University Chamber Choir, accompanied by the Manchester Camerata Orchestra.
Special Guest Soloists: Clare Rutter (Soprano), Jess Dandy (Mezzo-Soprano), Gwyn Hughes-Jones (Tenor), Ivegen Orlov (Bass).

RECRUITMENT OF CHOIR MEMBERS - Liverpool Welsh Choral, a mixed Choir of more than 100 voices, established in 1900, is one of the leading Choirs on Merseyside, wishes to RECRUIT SINGERS. There is no need for any Welsh connection, but ability to read music is highly desirable and help with this, if required, is being provided.

The repertoire remains varied and includes oratorios, opera, sacred music of composers ancient and modern, G & S and most of the popular choral works. The Choir performs about 4-5 varied concerts per season at a variety of venues, including The Philharmonic Hall, other concert halls, and churches.

The Choir holds weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evenings. If you are potentially interested in joining the Choir, please visit our web site (www.lwcu.co.uk) for further information.
