The group is very friendly and our membership has now reached 46, but for various practical reasons we regretfully feel we should not grow any larger at the present time.

This group started when the U3A was launched in 1996 as a small madrigal group of about ten members, meeting in our house. It has gradually expanded over the years to 45, including currently 16 sopranos, 10 altos, 9 tenors and 10 basses.

Our repertoire is largely SATB a cappella (unaccompanied) although some of the pieces use piano accompaniment. We have given concerts in several local churches and performed at U3A parties.

Most years in May or June we have joined with other U3A choirs for a joint choral day in the Cotswolds link region which extends to Worcester and Gloucester
