Groups

Information about all our groups is listed below in the alphabetical list. The day the group meets is shown and the number indicates in which week of the month this takes place.

These groups meet in various venues ranging from member's homes to local halls/rooms and are informal and friendly. There is a charge for attending a group and if necessary for the hire of the venue. See the individual Group's page for details.

It is essential to be a member of North Cotswold u3a before joining a group. This is for insurance purposes and to ensure there is capacity in the group for new members.

If you don’t find what you’re looking for in this list, or the group you are interested in is currently full, then why not start a group yourself? The u3a works on the principle of cooperative self help. So if you have an interest, why not share it? It only takes two or three people with similar interests to form a group - and then others will join in. Everyone in the group helps each other and shares their knowledge

A Point of Etiquette

The committee requests that those members who do not have a computer, or may not want to use one, provide their Group Leaders with either a book of stamps or a supply of S.A.E for any notifications to be sent to them.

The Group Leaders give up an enormous amount of their time for free and should not be expected to be out of pocket for their efforts. We thank you for your understanding
