Another eventful 3 months. In September we used the Community Bus by going to Clevedon Pier. The sun shone, making it perfect for a walk along the pier, enabling us to see several miles in both directions. We took our pick from colourful places to eat along the sea front, before wending our way back to the bus.
Some of our members had attended and illustrated talk on the Bath canal making it an obvious choice for a walk. Weather was good, barges colourful, the scenery attractive so a repeat walk is planned.
Some Sunday lunches have been in different locations near Chew Valley Lake, with yachts and other small craft providing interest.
A group went to see the Vienna Festival Ballet Snow White. An excellent production much enjoyed by all.
Our coffee mornings held at The Centurion are well attended, one generated a member telling us about a traditional Chinese Birthday.
