We have had some very nice outings so far this summer. The first was a boat trip from Bath followed by an enjoyable lunch. The weather was very good so that was an added bonus.
Our second trip was a visit to the Bishops Palace in Wells. This was an open day where we could tour the gardens of the Palace and there were several stalls of plants etc for sale.
We are doing two trips in July as we try to avoid August, a much busier month. We have been to Bristol for a boat trip. This year we stayed on the boat and did the round trip and then came back to Bristol for a meal choosing from the many restaurants on the water front. It was a beautiful day for weather, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Our next outing is to the old favourite ChewV alley Lake.
Attendances at meetings continue to be high and our monthly Sunday lunches are extremely well attended.
