The Camino Ingles or the English Way is one of the shortest routes on land to get to Santiago de Compostela. There are two starting points for the Camino Ingles, one from Ferrol and one from A Coruna.

From Ferrol it is 118 km to Santiago, and from A Coruña about 75. This camino offers a variety of views, from blue coastline to green mountains. The route is well way marked and the shortest way by which you can get your pilgrim's certificate. It is typically Galician with verdant pastures and plenty of deciduous woodland; it is, in fact, known as 'green Spain'. The climate is oceanic and more like that of Cornwall both in summer and in winter.
