Guitar Jammers

The Guitar Jammers started in 2015 with a small number of members who used to play in bands in their youth, and wanted to revive their interest and enjoy playing with others.
Since then, the group has developed and evolved and currently we have 18 members, who meet every Thursday morning from 11.00 to 13.30 in Church Aston Village Hall, Newport, TF10 9JG.
Everyone shares their knowledge and experience and two members are responsible for organising the songs for each session, with two Group Leaders looking after the U3A administration.
The maximum number we can accommodate is 18 and over the past year, several members have left and their places have been quickly filled with new members.
Everyone enjoys playing with others and appreciates the opportunity to develop and improve their guitar playing.
