We meet at Tesco Community Room on the first Monday of the month at 2.30pm. We have a very good attendance generally of about 14 to 16 members.
New members are always welcome to the Camera Group, no specialist photographic knowledge required or a fancy camera! All that is needed is the desire to enjoy your photography and make friends. Come along first as a guest – free. Tea/coffee included.
The aim of the group is to share members’ photographs and promote improved photography through discussion.
Each month we have a different subject for our photographs. Subjects for the next months are:
January 2020: Door Knockers, February: Graffiti/Street Art, March: Cats and April: Vintage Vehicles.
In January 2020, John Herring and myself are planning to give a talk on guidance taking photos and basic post processing.
At our meeting in January 2020 the group will decide if they wish to have an Afternoon Tea, instead of an annual group lunch. In May the group is planning a Field trip to give an opportunity for photos.
March will see the camera group again holding an Exhibition at Newmarket Library. Dates to be confirmed, details will be on the website late January 2020
