Science Round Table
Name of group : Science Round Table (formerly Quantum Mechanics)
Purpose of the group: To cover science in general, with members contributing scientific and engineering topics of interest to them, including QM.
What we do: Science Round Table (SRT)
This is a science group for all tastes. We meet to share and discuss the current status and recent developments of all aspects of science and engineering. We operate as a round table with all members welcome to contribute at any time. This might be on any topic: a news item, short talk or video clip about an aspect of science that they want to share. Also, lengthier talks by members of other U3A groups will be arranged/negotiated.
When we meet: 2:00 pm on the third Friday of the month.
When meeting at Pink Lane meeting rooms, we meet in R2.
During the Covid-19 crisis, we meet: Via Zoom.
