Barn Dancing
We started this new group in early 2023, joining with Thatcham u3a.
The caller, Mike, is a member of Hungerford u3a and is also a paid caller at festivals and events; we are very lucky to have a professional at no cost!
He makes the sessions fun, teaching us simpler ways to do steps if we're not up to the more energetic stuff!
You can also sit out, listen to the music and laugh as the rest of us tie ourselves up in knots.
It's good exercise and great fun.
The cost is £4 a session, which covers hall hire, refreshments and Mike's mileage.
- VENUE: Thatcham Baptist Church.
- WHEN: 1st Monday in the Month (This will vary for April and May due to holidays)
- Time: 2.30 - 4.30pm
