Newbury u3a prides itself on organising interesting events open to all members. In normal circumstances these comprise regular talks, coffee mornings, outings and Holidays. On this page we list the agenda for the next few months with their details.

Wed Mar 27thOuting2:22 - A GHOST STORY is an adrenaline-filled night where secrets emerge and ghosts may or may not appear! A "CRACKING SUPERNATURAL THRILLER"!!!!! Fri Apr 19thSocialSKITTLES EVENING. These evenings prove very popular and we are delighted to be running another one again, with prizes and an available bar. Supper too, is an option while cheering on your fellow players. Only £2.50 or £12 with food.

Thu May 16thOutingWATERPERRY. The Gardening Group's outing to these very pleasant gardens is now open to all u3a members at a modest cost of £25pp.

Wed May 22ndOutingCHATHAM DOCKYARD, this visit includes an hour's tour of the set for the popular TV programme "Call the Midwife" and a tour of the "Ropery". There are many other interesting things to see and do, go to the Chatham Dockyard website for more info (The link is on the Booking Form).

Wed May 29thOutingDROP the DEAD DONKEY, on at the New Victoria Theatre, Woking. This very funny and clever sitcom, which ran for 9 years in the 1990s, followed the trials and tribulations of a fictional TV News Company. It was notable for it's satire of current events and leading news stories of the week. 7 of the original cast are bringing it back on stage as a "Reawakening"! Fri Jun 28thOutingCHRISTCHURCH COLLEGE, OXFORD. A self-guided multimedia tour of the College to see many well known and interesting areas such as the Great Hall with its stained glass windows, the Tom Quad, the Cathedral and the Cloisters.
After lunch head for the Thames for a 21/2 hr afternoon cruise which includes a cream tea. Costs £58 pp.
