What is happening in these Covid Times?

COVID 19 Update (Nov 2020)
Below is the usual information. At present, Zoom events are the main order of the day and the 'Groups' page gives you more information about what is available.

Our monthly Diary is emailed (or posted) to all members each month.

In normal times, our monthly general meeting in the seminar room at the Bloomfield Centre is a great place to find out more about us. We can be found there on the second Saturday of every month, though this time may change when we are back to normal. From 10 till 10.30, we enjoy meeting and socialising with other members over tea or coffee. Then we conduct club business and listen to special presentations by members or other interesting members of the community. It is also where you may hear about special U3A events coming up, make new contacts, talk to members of activity groups and perhaps hear about other events happening in the community. Sometimes, you may go home with some home-grown produce!

Our members are from a huge range of backgrounds, and often organise trips to the theatre, quizzes, gardening trips, etc. For example, every November we host an intra-U3A quiz.

If you're not a member, come along and see what we're all about. If you are a member, and haven't been able to get to a meeting for a while, we look forward to seeing you again soon. We'll have missed you!
