Dual Perspective Project

Dual Perspective - an intimate connection between words and pictures is at the heart of this beautiful book. It's a collaboration between Wenlock Writers on the Edge (aka the U3A Creative Writing Group) and Marches Independent Photography in which words interpret photographs and photographs illustrate text.

Photographers and writes alike exchanged their work anonymously. The intention was to explore how others perceive our work; does it match our own mental image of what we have written or the thoughts reflected in an image. The resulting couplets certainly provoked thought.

'One of the pleasures of Dual Perspective is to engage with creative minds and find ourselves teased, perplexed, delighted - and subtly reminded to look and look again'. Simon Greaves, writer of The Country House at War.

An exhibition of the work was displayed in the Much Wenlock Holy Trinity Church during the Much Wenlock 2016 festival.
