Monthly members meetings

MKHD u3a holds monthly general meetings that are open to all members on the second Tuesday of the month from 2.00 to 4.00 for most months of the year. There is no charge for members to attend these meetings. At most meetings a speaker gives an illustrated talk on one of a wide variety of topics, with opportunities to ask questions afterwards.

Where do we meet?

MKHD u3a monthly meetings are now taking place at our new venue - The Shires retirement village, 218 Wake Green Road B13 9PQ.
This is a new build offering modern facilities including a cafe/bistro where refreshments can be purchased. It has its own car park and can be reached from the following bus routes: no.1 (from College Road junction), no.11 (from Swanshurst Lane junction) and no.5.

Other events

We have an active Lunch Group which organises regular lunches. Other groups organise visits to art galleries, gardens and theatres. Details of these events can be found under the relevant groups.
