Current Affairs 2
This group aims to provide members with a forum to discuss and explore issues of topical interest.
We meet on the 4th Thursday of the month 10-12. The group is currently full but please contact me if you would like to find out more and be added to the waiting list.
The subject for discussion is chosen a week before the meeting to ensure that the discussion is as current as possible. Someone will have volunteered to introduce the subject but all members are expected to have done their own research and all will be given the opportunity to contribute with the aim of generating a lively and good humoured debate. No previous knowledge is necessary, just the ability to listen to the discussion with an open mind (ie all prejudices should be left at home!) and a willingness to contribute.
