Middlesbrough U3A was formed in the summer of 2006 and we currently have about 100 members.
We meet once a month on the first Wednesday of the month at St. Barnabas Church in Linthorpe Village, Middlesbrough from 2.00 pm to 3.45 pm. The meeting comprises an initial business session followed by a break for tea or coffee then there is a speaker or other activity. The monthly meeting is a chance for people to get together.
We currently have 10 interest groups. These are organised by the U3A members themselves and any member whose interest is not catered for is encouraged to seek to start a new group. More information can be found on the Groups page
We produce a newsletter every month which tells you about our activities.
Membership costs £15 per year. Non-members may attend the monthly meetings for £1.50 a time.
